Back Mountain

All Hawks home games for the 2004 season will be played at the Dallas High School field, which is behind the school and to the right of the football field.

To Dallas High School...

From the North:
From Tunkhannock, follow 29/309 south to Dallas. Make a left at the first traffic light after the light at WalMart in Tunkhannock (about 16 miles) After the left, immediately bear right onto Hildebrand Road, go almost a half mile, and, just past the elementary school, turn right onto Conyngham Ave. Go to the top and turn right into the parking lot. The field is behind the school, on the westerly side of the football stadium.

From the West:
From Hughesville, follow Rt 118 east until it ends at Rt 415. Make a right onto 415, go 1.2 miles to traffic light. At the light, turn left onto Center Hill Road, go straight through two 4-way stop signs to traffic light at Rt 309. Straight through the light and immediately bear right onto Hildebrand Road,
go almost a half mile, and, just past the elementary school, turn right onto Conyngham Ave. Go to the top and turn right into the parking lot. The field is behind the school, on the westerly side of the football stadium.

From the east & south:
From northeast extension of Pa turnpike, take the Wilkes Barre exit, follow 115 north to route 309 north. From I-81, take exit 170-B. Follow route 309 north Back Mtn, 309 north to Dallas. After about 6 miles, you will start hitting traffic lights, 7 in the next 3 miles. At the Dallas Shopping Center, bear to right to stay on 309 north, go 1 mile to traffic light, turn right at the light. and immediately bear right onto Hildebrand Road, go almost a half mile, and, just past the elementary school, turn right onto Conyngham Ave. Go to the top and turn right into the parking lot. The field is behind the school, on the westerly side of the football stadium.

Take I- 81 to the Central Scranton Expressway (exit 185). Going down the expressway, stay in the right lane and take the Cedar ave.exit. At stop sign, turn right onto Cedar ave. and immediately get in the left lane and take the first left (300 feet) onto Mattes ave. Follow Mattes ave. and go through the first light and over the railroad tracks, past the South Side Complex (on the left), and continue straight to stop sign at tee intersection. Turn left onto Railroad Ave., go one block and turn right at the light onto Luzerne St,.

81 N. to exit 182 (Davis St./Montage Mtn. Rd.) turn left onto Davis St.
Follow Davis St  over 81 and down the hill to light at Pittston Ave.  Turn
right onto Pittston Ave, go nine blocks to O'Hara St. (accross from
abandoned Gulf gas stn). Turn right onto O'Hara St., go all the way to top
of hill, O'Hara St runs right into Connell park.

From Wilkes-Barre, take route 309 SOUTH
or
From I-81, take I-80 EAST to I-80 exit 39, Route 309 SOUTH

From Jct of I-80 and route 309, go SOUTH on route 309 for 2.8 miles to traffic light.

At traffic light  TURN LEFT up the hill go 2.5 miles to top of mountain

Freeland St.Joseph's Med. Center on the left, TURN RIGHT
stay on that road for exactly 1.0 miles, you come to a "T" which is route 940. turn RIGHT.

(you are .7 miles from field)

within a half mile there's sign for Drifton Softball complex
go 2 streets past the softball complex sign
make a RIGHT into Thomas Court
this will lead to the baseball field.

Hazleton

Hazleton's home field is Pagnotti Field.
From Wilkes-Barre area take interstate 81 south to Hazleton
exit at Hazleton exit for route 924 (old exit 40)
at end of exit ramp turn left onto route 924 toward Hazleton.
go 2.4 miles on route 924 to intersection of route 93
go straight through intersection onto Diamond Ave
go 1.4 miles on Diamond Ave to Arthur St.
Turn Right on Arthur St, parking lot right there.
From Trucksville, it takes about 45 minutes,  39.5 miles,

take the Northeast Extension (I-476) of the PA Turnpike to the
Lehigh Valley Exit (Exit 56-old exit 33).   Proceed to US 22 West,
toward Harrisburg.  US 22 will merge with I-78.  Travel
approximately 10 miles on I-78 to the exit for Kutztown (exit 40, Rt. 737).
Take 737 south for six miles into Kutztown, eventually coming to a
stop light which is Main St.
Turn left at traffic light, in a half mile you will see a park on the right.
Make the 2nd right after you see the park. The baseball field is in the park.
It is six-tenths mile on Main St  from the traffic light to the right turn.

Luzerne County Community College

Take Route 309 South to Interstate 81 South.  Continue on Interstate 81 South to Exit 164.  Take Exit 164 to Route 29 North.  Continue on Route 29 North for approximately 4.5 miles to Exit 3 (Nanticoke/WB Exit)  Continue straight off exit to stop sign.  Turn left at stop sign toward Nanticoke.  Continue straight approximately 1 mile to traffic light.  Turn left at light onto Kosciuszko Street.  Follow Kosciuszko Street straight for approximately 1 mile to LCCC campus enterance. Turn right to LCCC campus. Continue approximately 200 yards and make next left turn toward baseball field and parking lot.

To Montrose High School...
Take 309, route 29 straight through Tunkhannock to Montrose.
In Montrose, follow route 29 past McDonalds, Mastrosario's,
the Pump and Pantry, to the golf course and the Route 29/Route 167 split
Take 167, you will see the high school up on the hill.

Moscow

To Moscow American Legion Baseball field

81 north to 380 south to Daleville exit (old exit 5)
Left onto 307, go 1 mile.
See driving range on right, turn left (a switchback left)
Go 1 mile to stop sign, straight through stop 300 yards to field

Mountaintop

From 81 South, take the Nuangola exit. Make a left at the stop sign. Go to the next stop sign and make another left. Follow Church road for approximately 1.8 miles. The entrance to Post 781 will be on your right.

From 81 North, take the Nuangola exit and make a right at the stop sign. Follow Church road for approx. 1.8 miles. The entrance to Post 781 will be on your right.

From 309 North, go past Crestwood High School to the traffic light at St. Jude's Church and make a right onto Church road. At the 4 way stop, continue straight. At the Y, bear right. Continue for approx 1/2 mile to Post 781 on the left.

From 309 South, make a left onto Church road and follow as above.

Nanticoke

To   Ted Hiller Field   Honey Pot   Nanticoke home field
from Huntsville corners, go 1.7 miles to Chase corners
turn RIGHT at Chase Corners, go 3.2 miles to route 29.
turn LEFT on route 29, go 3.0 miles to route 11
turn LEFT on route 11, go .7 miles to Nanticoke "bridge" road
turn right onto bridge, go .6 miles, turn right first paved road.
go one half mile to stop sign, turn RIGHT,
then quick LEFT up the hill.
Field is at crest of hill.

From North via 222 S: Travel 222 S to 422 W.
Travel 422 W in to West Lawn. Turn left at the fourth light after the
highway turns from four lanes to two on to West Wyomissing Blvd.
There is a Redners Quick Shoppe at the light where you turn left.
The street sign at the light will say Woodside Ave. After turning
left on to West Wyomissing Blvd., travel straight through one traffic
light, then turn Right on to Monroe Avenue. Owls Field will
be straight ahead.

Cross Valley Expressway to Exit 3, Plains, Wilkes-Barre
down exit ramp, get into middle lane, Maffet St., Plains
Hilldale baseball field is on Maffet St.
Follow Maffet St. straight through traffic light in center of Plains,
field is 1.5 miles from Carey St traffic light in center of Plains.

take I-80 west to route 93 exit  (first exit on I-80 west)
South on route 93  (about 2.5 miles) to Conyngham Builders,
At traffic lite, make right toward Rock Glen  (county road 40),
Go about 6.6 miles,
Just past Sugarloaf Golf Course, turn left toward Rock Glen,
One-half mile, turn right into Park St.
field is a couple hundred yards on the left.
(Black Creek Twp Municipal Park).
